The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah, is like that of a grain of corn that sprouts seven ears, and in every ear there are hundreds of grains. Thus Allah multiplies the action of whomsoever He wills. Allah is All Embracing and All Knowing.

(Surah Baqarah - Ayah 261)

Yemen is the world's largest humanitarian crisis. Millions are suffering, and many thousands are dying from hunger, illness, and conflict. Your Zakat and Sadaqah can bring them respite during these times of hardship.

"The world cannot afford to let Yemen slip into the abyss" - UNHCR Official Representative

The number of people in need of aid has now reached over 22 million. Of these, more than 2 million are trapped far from their homes in camps, without any idea when they can return.

As the crisis deepens, the death toll rises. People who have already fled their homes are now dying daily in the refugee camps from a lack of food, water and medicines.

Ethar Relief is working on the ground in Yemen, delivering emergency aid to people who are desperately in need. We prioritise families with children, and other vulnerable people such as the elderly and disabled.

Water is the most basic necessity, essential for life. In remote places, thousands travel for hours having a devastating impact on their lives. A well is a gift that keeps giving.

Quench their thirst and bring back the promise of life!

Life Saving Sadaqah

Ethar Relief provides clean water to refugees and needy people in Sudan,. We try and ensure that no-one is too far from water at any time. By modern construction standards, making a permanent well that taps into water reserves deep beneath the rocky ground isn’t hugely expensive – it’s just far beyond the means of the refugees themselves.

Small wells can be placed in hard-to-reach areas or sparsely populated communities. This reduces the distance these communities need to travel for water and eases the difficulties for thousands of remote families.

A full water station provides for 15000 people for over a period of 50 years, with regular maintenance. Families, unaccompanied children and women are exposed to many dangers as they are forced to travel significant distances to access water which is often dirty and contaminated. The presence of fixed water stations protects them and prevents their further displacement.
